Dear Brothers and Sisters of Christ the King,
Our Lenten fast ends officially at 6PM this evening. More than a couple of you have expressed a desire to break fast with a fellowship time around food and drink together after Holy Communion TONIGHT. I am decidedly friendly to the idea and encourage you and anyone else to bring something to eat and a beverage. How ever many come we will enjoy celebrating together.
Will someone be willing to help set things up – perhaps in the parlor or in the kitchen area downstairs?
People have asked WHEN WILL SERVICES FINISH? We should be done very close to 10:30 – still enough to celebrate with food and drink and not be sleep deprived the next day.
Since more than a few are providentially hindered and will not be able to come to services tonight, I am asking whole parish to be present Sunday morning so we may celebrate the Paschal mystery all together as a Parish.
