Learn About Our Anglican Heritage

My Dear Brothers and Sisters,

The Anglican Church is very old, its roots dating back to the first century.  The great Schism of 1054 did not involve the Anglican Church and this is significant.  The following links will take you to an article that summarizes a great deal of history and thought in a small space.  The desire for brevity means it is necessarily broad in its treatments but is still an extremely useful summary of many issues.  I wish that every one of you would read it to become more aware of what it means to be a part of the Ancient Faith, to be genuinely orthodox and catholic as Anglicans.

See a copy of the article at my blog more appealing visually, and while you are at it why not subscribe?) or go to the original post.

If you have questions, troubles, or reflections about anything you read give me a call 937 252-1413  or e-mail me at wayne.mcnamara@ckrec.org  or my yahoo address: fr_wayne_mcnamara@yahoo.com – I am easily engaged with such topics of conversation especially over a meal or appropriate fruits, grains, and vegetables.

Blessings,

Fr. Wayne
