Maundy Thursday

April 5th is Maundy Thursday, which commemorates the Last Supper of Jesus which he shared with his disciples on the night before he was crucified. Our observance of this celebration will begin with a potluck meal at 6 p.m., followed by Holy Communion at 7 p.m. You are invited to bring a dish keeping in line with your Lenten fast.

Derived from the Latin word mandatum, meaning “command,” Maundy refers to the commands Jesus gave his disciples at the Last Supper: to love with humility by serving one another and to remember his sacrifice.

Do join us as we remember this particular event in Christ’s life.
